Our team at the BMW Group advances high-voltage battery and cell technology by supporting with data science and statistical analysis. We drive innovation in energy storage for electric mobility by applying state-of-the-art statistical modeling, clustering, and dimension reduction techniques.
What awaits you?
- You will support developing and refining advanced statistical methods for high-voltage battery and cell data.
- Furthermore, you help to prepare, evaluate, and interpret data with a focus on statistical analysis.
- In addition, you contribute to exploratory data analyses and hypothesis testing to identify optimization potential.
- Moreover, you assist in collaborating with data scientists, statisticians, and engineers to develop innovative modeling approaches.
- You will help to integrate emerging statistical techniques and best practices into electromobility applications.
- Studies in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field.
- Solid knowledge of statistical data analysis, clustering and dimension reduction techniques, and data visualization.
- Experience with large datasets and data preparation, e.g. using NumPy or AWS services.
- Basic knowledge of software development methods such as version control or Scrum.
- Analytical thinking, structured mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in current trends and technologies in electromobility and battery storage.
- Good English skills; German is a plus.
