About Jetson

Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. We believe in a future that is 100% electric and 100% better.

Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet adoption of solutions like heat pumps remains slow due to cost and complexity. Jetson is solving this by building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company — making clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable.

We rely heavily on technology, automation, and data to scale this impact. At Jetson, we value people who are excellent at their craft, curious about new tools (including AI), and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done.

The Opportunity

Jetson is looking for a Product Designer (UX/UI) to help design and deliver clear, thoughtful product experiences across our digital products and services—shaping the way people electrify and control their home systems.

This is a product-first role for a designer with solid UX/UI experience who has worked across complex customer journeys. You’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, and senior design leadership to translate complex workflows into usable, well-crafted, brand-forward product experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Design and iterate on product experiences across:
    • Customer-facing digital products
    • Internal and crew-facing tools
    • Emerging AI-enabled interactions
  • Contribute to customer journeys that span multiple stages, including onboarding, usage, and support
  • Partner with product managers and engineers from problem definition through delivery
  • Translate technical and operational requirements into clear UX/UI solutions
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs ready for implementation
  • Participate in design reviews, critiques, and user feedback sessions
  • Apply brand guidelines and visual standards thoughtfully within product experiences
  • Help shape UX patterns and design standards
What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI)
  • Experience with broader customer journeys or workflows
  • Strong UX fundamentals across interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
  • Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with direction and feedback, and make thoughtful design tradeoffs
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions
  • Demonstrated interest in using AI thoughtfully within design systems and workflows to improve quality, speed, or insight
  • A strong portfolio showing high-quality digital product work and depth in UX/UI craft
  • Experience with service design, AI interfaces, or operational tools is a plus, but not required
