Network Reliability Engineer

We are hiring a Network Reliability Engineer to design and build the network infrastructure that powers our trading operations. Join us!

In this position, you will:

• Design and develop tooling for latency research, including triangulation-based measurement systems and novel optimization approaches, directly enabling strategy developers to push performance boundaries
• Architect, extend, and optimize our on-premises, intra-cloud, and inter-cloud network infrastructure
• Build automation frameworks for network provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows
• Enhance monitoring and observability across our network stack, providing the visibility needed to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance
• Drive the network buildout for new locations and low-latency connectivity initiatives alongside the platform team
• Explore and implement emerging network technologies where microseconds translate directly to competitive advantage

We expect you to have:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise network gear (Arista, Juniper, or Cisco) or open-source routing platforms
• Deep knowledge of routing and switching concepts (BGP, LACP, GRE, and similar protocols)
• Strong analytical skills and genuine curiosity about network performance optimization
• Ability and motivation to learn new concepts quickly
• Proficiency in English and Lithuanian
• Availability to work on-site at our Symbiocity Vilnius office

You will stand out if you have:

• Expertise with kernel optimizations for performance and latency reduction
• Experience with SolarFlare NICs, DPDK, and/or Onload
• Background in high-frequency trading or other latency-sensitive environments
• Experience with cryptocurrencies and blockchain infrastructure

Salary range: €5,000 – €10,000 gross per month
