Role: Data Engineer

Location: Oslo, Norway

Type: Contract


Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Lakehouse, OneLake).
  • Solid experience working with Data Lake architectures.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with Spark / PySpark / Spark SQL.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and analytics consumption patterns.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.


Preferred skills:

  • Microsoft Certification: Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700) or Azure Data certifications.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and lineage.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
