Senior Strategy Manager

The OpportunityAre you a driven strategist with an entrepreneurial mindset? In this role, you will support the Board of Directors and the Divisional Management Boards with strategy development, portfolio analyses, growth planning, and M&A. You challenge, structure, and deliver—hands‑on and embedded in the process.

What You Will Do

Strategy & Portfolio

  • Co‑develop strategic growth plans with the Board and divisions (organic and via acquisitions).
  • Run portfolio analyses and translate insights into clear choices and priorities.


Markets & Opportunities

  • Proactively identify opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Convert opportunities into actionable plans with a robust business case and KPIs.


M&A (end‑to‑end)

  • Play an active role across acquisition processes: market exploration, strategic rationale, commercial due diligence, value‑creation planning, and integration support.


Execution & Decision Support

  • Prepare and challenge business cases on strategic fit and financial robustness.
  • Produce board‑ready outputs (clear storyline, decision materials) and maintain momentum across initiatives.


Your Profile

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or business development, preferably in an international context.
  • Affinity with automotive, specialised vehicle manufacturing, logistics, recycling, heavy equipment, or industrial services.
  • Understanding of family‑business dynamics; practical experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record advising C‑level and divisional leadership on market entry, portfolio reviews, and performance improvement.
  • Experience in M&A (commercial due diligence and integration planning).
  • Strong storylining skills: you translate complex analysis into clear narratives and hands‑on deliverables (presentations, memos, models).
  • Comfortable operating from boardroom to project team; analytical, pragmatic, energetic, with strong ownership.
