Sales Manager – Nordics

Reports to: General Manager – Nordics
Overview
A leading international technology distribution group is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee its Nordics sales operations. The organisation partners with global technology brands, providing enterprise, infrastructure, component, and security solutions across Europe.
You will lead a small sales team, manage key accounts, and work closely with vendors and channel partners to drive revenue growth, expand product coverage, and strengthen market presence across the region.
This is a strategic leadership role within a high-performing, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a regional sales team to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Introduce and manage KPIs and performance metrics to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities.
- Foster a results-driven culture that promotes accountability and continuous improvement.
Planning & Execution
- Build and implement targeted business plans for key customer accounts.
- Drive data-led sales activity using internal reports, analytics, and market insights.
- Plan and execute local sales campaigns, product pushes, and vendor initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and corporate standards.
- Promote best practice in pipeline management, forecasting, and business planning.
- Collaborate with commercial and pre-sales teams to ensure a strong understanding of the product portfolio.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in IT channel sales or distribution (preferably in enterprise, infrastructure, or components).
- Strong track record in managing and motivating a sales team.
- Skilled in sales planning, analysis, and execution.
- Ability to understand and simplify technical product offerings for resellers and partners.
- Experience working within profit-focused, target-driven environments.
