HR Specialist – Onboarding

We’re looking for an experienced HR Specialist – Onboarding to play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless, compliant, and high-impact onboarding experience within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is ideal for a proactive onboarding expert who thrives on structure, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

As the subject matter expert for mobilisation and onboarding, you’ll drive best practices, optimise processes, and ensure new hires are set up for success from their first interaction with us.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Execute onboarding plans for high-volume and business-critical hiring, ensuring all milestones are met on time
  • Review, enhance, and standardise mobilisation and onboarding procedures, ensuring compliance with UAE labour and visa requirements
  • Partner closely with Government Relations, dnata, Learning & Development, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless onboarding journey
  • Track onboarding KPIs, analyse trends, and provide insight-driven reports and recommendations
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, coaching, and issue resolution support to the onboarding team
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and system accuracy across onboarding platforms
  • Manage clear, timely communication with new hires to ensure all mobilisation documentation is completed correctly
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and recommend corrective actions where needed
  • Support onboarding budget planning through workforce and logistics forecasting

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in onboarding or mobilisation, ideally within a complex or high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of UAE labour law, visa processes, and HR systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and planning skills
  • Confident working with data, metrics, and reporting (Excel proficiency essential)
  • Experience coaching or supporting junior team members
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
