Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, understand complex networks, and have a passion for continuous learning and improvement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and integrity of our network services, which include LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and data security. In this role, you must be adept at troubleshooting complex network issues, monitoring network performance, and collaborating with other IT professionals to enhance our IT systems' efficiency and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new network solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
• Configure and maintain network equipment, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure system availability.
• Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network services with other systems.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and updates for reference.
• Manage and execute network upgrades and patches in a timely manner.
• Ensure network security through the implementation of firewall policies and VPNs.
• Work with vendors and service providers to optimize network service agreements.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to protect network data integrity.
• Stay updated with industry trends to recommend new technologies for adoption.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on networking concepts and practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching techniques.
• Experience with network security measures and best practices for protection.
• Proficiency in using network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex network issues.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar, are an advantage.
