Position Overview

We’re seeking a Software Engineer to help build and operate real-time data streaming platforms. In this role, you’ll work on the design, development, deployment, and operation of stream-processing services using technologies such as Java, Kafka, Flink, and AWS. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, grow your skills in distributed systems, and contribute to products that operate at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and operate stream-processing pipelines, ensuring reliability, correctness, and maintainability
  • Contribute to end-to-end development activities, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and basic operational support in AWS
  • Solve well-defined to moderately complex engineering problems using established design patterns and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions, learning from feedback and contributing to team decisions
  • Write clear, maintainable code and supporting technical documentation
  • Support DevOps and QA activities as needed to help the team deliver high-quality services
  • Build foundational knowledge of real-time data platforms, streaming technologies, and AI-enabled analytics use cases

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience writing production-quality code in Java (academic, professional, or equivalent practical experience)
  • Familiarity with AWS, including basic deployment and monitoring concepts
  • Exposure to or hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., developer productivity tools, AI-assisted coding, or data/ML platforms)
  • Understanding of core software engineering practices such as testing, code reviews, and version control
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and learn from feedback
