Senior Product Manager, Platform.AI, AI Programme

[What the role is]


GovTech is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Product Manager to drive the development and success of AI capabilities within Platform.AI. Platform.AI is a developer-focused platform designed to help product and app teams take their AI ideas from concept to reality in the fastest possible way while maintaining full compliance, safety, and performance.

You will own a group of capabilities of the platform (such as Vision, Speech, Text, Search, Safety) ensuring your specific capability domains meets the evolving needs of government agencies.

[What you will be working on]


As a Senior Product Manager, you will be expected to lead complex products and initiatives within your AI capability domains, demonstrating a high degree of ownership and strategic thinking. Your core responsibilities include:

Product Strategy & Vision:

1. Develop the product vision and align teams around long-term goals for your designated AI capability domains.
2. Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure your products meets the evolving needs of developers and government agencies.
   
   
   

Product Execution & Delivery:

1. Drive the product lifecycle for your products from ideation to launch and during scale and growth stages, managing all stages effectively.
2. Act as the primary driver across policy, operations, and technology to deliver desired outcomes.
   
   
   

Customer & Market Understanding:

1. Lead customer discovery and validation of problems and needs for your products within the developer community.
2. Serve as a key liaison between business leadership and product/engineering teams, advocating for products’ needs and user insights.
   
   
   

Data-Driven Decision Making:

1. Define success metrics and use data to drive decisions for your products, such as usage rates and performance SLAs.
2. Drive the measurement of success based on outcomes and impact achieved by your AI capability domains.
   
   
   

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

1. Mentor junior team members, fostering growth, best practices, and product expertise within the team.
   
   
   

[What we are looking for]

1. Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a Senior capacity, leading strategic and complex technology products.
2. Deep understanding of AI/ML platforms, developer tools, or cloud services is a significant advantage.
3. Demonstrated ability to bridge policy, operational, and technical considerations to deliver compliant and performant products.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to define success metrics and leverage data to make informed product decisions.
5. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to align leadership, engineering, and developer communities.
