Senior Project Manager (Digital)

Our client is one of the prominent organisation in the services sector with proven track record and stable growth in Asia. Now, it is looking to hire an experienced IT Development Manager in their Singapore regional office to drive their AI and Digital initiatives.

The IT Development Manager will be responsible for initiating, driving, managing all digital and automation projects within the organization. This is a hands-on people manager role (with 4 direct reports). You will be expected to have strong people, stakeholders, vendor and project management skills as well as proven know-how of digital technologies.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record with at least 5 to 8 years of exposure in initiating, driving and managing digital and automation projects.
• Individual with broader, cross-domain experience (e.g. business + technology, operations + delivery) will be preferred.
• Proven track record of commercial delivery with demonstrated ability to deliver measurable outcomes (e.g. revenue impact, cost optimisation, efficiency gains)
• Clear experience owning budgets, including planning, forecasting, and cost control
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and navigating change resistance from the business users.
• Prior experience with direct people management
• Strong balance experience across people, project and vendor management.
• Strong background in both in-house software development and integration of third-party solutions.
• Possesses work experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure
• Experienced with Agile and Scrum methodologies and related tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Project Management Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master will be highly preferred.
