Job Title: Senior Enterprise Architect / Cloud Architect

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite - Full Time)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect / Cloud Architect with a deep understanding of cloud strategy, architecture, and implementation to join our team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing critical cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving the cloud transformation strategy, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of cloud technologies with the organization’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Strategy Development: Lead the development of innovative cloud strategies aligned with business objectives, driving the transformation to cloud-based infrastructures and services. Provide strategic guidance for the adoption of Microsoft Azure in line with business needs.
• Architecture Design & Implementation: Architect, design, and implement complex cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS). Ensure that solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Hybrid Cloud Expertise: Spearhead the development of hybrid cloud strategies, integrating and migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud. Oversee the seamless transition to hybrid cloud models while ensuring business continuity and reducing costs.
• Optimization & Performance Tuning: Lead performance assessments and optimization initiatives to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of Azure environments. Continuously improve cloud systems and infrastructure to meet evolving business demands.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work as a strategic advisor and a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between IT teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership. Ensure alignment of cloud solutions with organizational goals and drive the cloud adoption strategy across the enterprise.
• Security & Compliance Leadership: Ensure that cloud architectures meet the highest standards of security and compliance, including governance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance specific to the cloud infrastructure.
• Cloud Transformation Leadership: Provide leadership in the cloud transformation journey, from initial planning and design to execution and post-implementation support, driving change management and cloud culture within the organization.

Skills & Expertise:

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Cloud Architecture Leadership: Expertise in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions on both PaaS and IaaS levels within Azure, including integration with existing IT environments.
• Hybrid Cloud Strategies: Experience in developing hybrid cloud models, migrating on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments, and optimizing cloud architectures for performance and cost.
• Azure Administration & Security: Hands-on experience with Azure setup, administration, and security management, ensuring cloud environments are secure, scalable, and reliable.
• Cloud Optimization & Cost Efficiency: Strong understanding of performance assessment, tuning, and optimization strategies to improve scalability, operational efficiency, and cost control within Azure.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership in cloud-related decision-making.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
