Job Title: Microsoft 365 Administrator
Job Purpose
The Microsoft 365 Administrator is responsible for administering, supporting, and optimizing the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 services. The role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient collaboration platforms and supports integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, particularly for document management and storage.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Office applications.
- Configure and manage users, licenses, groups, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and usage across the M365 environment.
- Implement and maintain security, compliance, and governance policies.
SharePoint & Collaboration Platforms
- Administer SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, permissions, and workflows.
- Support document management, version control, metadata, and retention policies.
- Customize SharePoint sites and enable collaboration solutions aligned with business needs.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Teams and SharePoint-related issues.
SAP Integration & Enterprise Systems
- Support integration between SAP and SharePoint / Office 365 for document storage and collaboration.
- Coordinate with SAP and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless data and document flow.
- Troubleshoot integration-related issues and ensure system reliability.
Operations, Support & Governance
- Provide Level 2/3 operational support for M365 services.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and changes following ITIL best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Support audits and ensure readiness for compliance reviews.
User Support & Enablement
- Assist with user onboarding, training, and adoption of M365 tools.
- Provide guidance on best practices for collaboration, document management, and security.
- Support continuous improvement and platform enhancements.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator.
- Strong experience with SharePoint Online administration.
- Experience supporting SAP integrations, particularly for document storage and collaboration.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments with structured governance models.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate
