Junior Front End Developer – Job Description
- We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Front End Software Developer to join our team
- As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user-friendly front-end applications.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a junior developer looking to enhance their skills and gain experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Design and develop front-end code, focusing on user interface interactions and creating effective user interfaces.
- Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications, write and generate code, and conduct unit tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during software use and operation.
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Utilize structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
- Engage in application design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Work with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Engage with external third parties for partnerships and licensing opportunities.
- 1+ year of experience with Java Open JDK 8 and 11.
- 1+ year of experience with Spring Boot 2 or 3.
- Experience in test automation using Playwright.
- 1+ year of experience with SOAP Web Service and REST Service.
- Experience with front-end technologies, including React and Node.JS.
- Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support.
- Experience in design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
- Experience in database development and SQL.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications.
- Experience with middleware and gateways.
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related standards.
- Ability to provide user and system documentation as required.
