Data Scientist

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a collaborative, high-performing analytics team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of forecasting and inventory models, deliver actionable insights, and support the team in applying Python-driven analytics to real-world supply chain challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career with 1–2 years of experience—or strong academic/project experience—to grow technical skills and make a tangible impact on supply chain operations.

What You’ll Do

• Build, maintain, and optimise Python-based forecasting and inventory models
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
• Develop Power BI dashboards and ad hoc reports to support business decision-making
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and other teams
• Support and mentor analysts in Python, forecasting, and analytics best practices
• Assist with rollout of projects related to central distribution and network replenishment

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years experience in data science, analytics, or demand planning, or strong academic/project experience
• Strong Python skills
• Exposure to Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot) preferred
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Interest in supply chain, inventory optimisation, and forecasting preferred
