Back End Developer

🚀 Backend Engineer (Node.js)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring and alerting
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous technical improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5–10 years of software development experience, including 3+ years with Node.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Express.js and NestJS (preferred)
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven design, and microservices architecture
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Knowledge of Redis, message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ), and caching strategies
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
