About the Role:

Job description:

Top Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

• Minimum __5+__ years experience with ___ Figma skills digital design.
• Minimum __5+__ years experience with ___ User research skills.
• Minimum __5+__ years experience with ___ Ecommerce
• Minimum __5+__ years experience with ___ Product Design

Job Responsibilities:

• Has designed 2+ design systems for web applications, utilized by teams of multiple designers
• At least 1 design system created in Figma
• Ability to take brand references (example: graphic design) and apply it to a digital/UX context
• Has worked directly with engineers to ensure coded components match the Figma file.
• Experience testing designs through user research

Qualifications:

• Good candidates will have a solid portfolio. Great candidates will be able to share case study examples of how they have built/maintained/updated design systems for use by teams of product designers before.

• Good candidates will create beautiful UIs. Great candidates will prioritize usability over visual polish, while still creating something that looks great.

• Good candidates will be able to create strong blue-sky concepts. Great candidates will be able to reference existing materials and work within real-world constraints to create a look-and-feel that is forward-facing and yet familiar to existing users and a natural progression of the brand.

• Good candidates will work independently to create design artifacts when asked. Great candidates will be proactive in partnering with product designers, engineers and more to ensure our design quality is the best it can be.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
