Description:
We are seeking a practical, hands-on cybersecurity specialist to partner closely with the TISO and take responsibility for essential aspects of daily security operations. This position emphasizes delivery, accountability, and ongoing optimization rather than a purely consultative approach.
The person in this role will independently manage specific security areas, collaborate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors, and ensure transparency through structured reporting and effective communication.
Main Responsibilities
- Assume end-to-end responsibility for one or more cybersecurity areas (such as Vulnerability Management, endpoint protection, or cloud security controls).
- Oversee daily security activities within your assigned domains, including scheduling, prioritization, and tracking progress.
- Coordinate the full vulnerability management process: discovery, risk evaluation, remediation follow-up, and status reporting.
- Partner with IT, infrastructure, cloud, and SOC teams to implement fixes and strengthen the overall security posture.
- Convert group-level security standards into realistic and actionable steps tailored to the environment.
- Monitor milestones, potential risks, and obstacles, ensuring stakeholders are kept properly informed.
- Prepare clear operational reports for leadership, audit purposes, and group security functions.
- Contribute to all other security-related projects.
Desired profile:
- 1–2 years of experience in vulnerability management, covering both offensive and defensive perspectives.
- Demonstrates a solid analytical and solution-oriented approach, with the capability to operate independently.
- Confident in making decisions and taking responsibility for results.
- Able to handle several parallel tasks or initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
