Java Backend Engineer – Remote

Role Highlights

You’ll design and refine algorithms, identify anomalies, propose architectural improvements, and help automate existing workflows to enhance throughput and simplicity.

Essential Experience:

• Strong Java development skills with solid JVM fundamentals (memory, GC, threading).
• Experience building scalable backend services and system components.
• Ability to reason about performance, complexity, and design trade‑offs.

Bonus Experience:

• Scala, Go, or Kotlin.
• Spark, Akka, or Play frameworks.
• ETL or data streaming experience
