Urgent requirement for Lead DevOps Engineer – Cloud, Big Data & CI/CD Containers is required for our client in Abu Dhabi ,UAE

Strong experience one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)---Must

Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines is Must

Strong experience on container-based services (Docker, Kubernetes) is Must

Strong experience in on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.) Is MUST

Strong experience on Big Data / Analytics: Data lakes, streaming, large-scale cloud data pipelines is MUST

We are looking for a Lead Data DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate modern, cloud-based data analytics platforms at scale. This role is hands-on and technical, suited for an engineer who can own data infrastructure, DevOps automation, and reliability across streaming, big data, and ML workloads.

You will work on cutting-edge cloud and data technologies, enabling high-performance, fault-tolerant, and secure analytics systems while guiding teams through best DevOps and DataOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy cloud-native data analytics solutions, including IoT analytics, streaming platforms, and decision-support systems
  • Build and operate high-performance, scalable, distributed systems for processing and storing large-scale data
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive reliability and operational excellence
  • Support Machine Learning and Data/Delta Lake platforms across private and public cloud environments
  • Assist development teams with POCs and solution design
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
  • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform performance tuning and security engineering
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt market-leading technologies

🔴 Mandatory Skill Sets (Non-Negotiable)

Candidates must demonstrate strong, hands-on experience in all of the following:

1️⃣ Cloud & DevOps Engineering

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.)

2️⃣ Containers & Distributed Systems

  • Solid experience with container-based services (Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent)
  • Experience operating fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems in production

3️⃣ Data & Big Data Platforms

  • Strong understanding of Big Data concepts and use cases
  • Hands-on exposure to streaming, data analytics, or data lake architectures
  • Experience supporting data-intensive workloads in cloud environments

4️⃣ Programming & Automation

  • Experience debugging and supporting Java and/or Python applications
  • Strong version control skills with Git
