Our client is a leading global tech company at the forefront of AI innovation, where we build advanced language models and intelligent agent systems to tackle complex, high-impact challenges. This role offers the opportunity to build an entire AI Agent System from scratch and future leadership opportunities. We are looking at candidate that are strong engineers first, with experience in building and deploying production-grade backend or AI-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate production-grade AI agent systems, including multi-step reasoning, coordination between agents, and reliability safeguards.
• Develop strategies for context, memory, feedback loops, and evaluation to keep agents accurate, aligned, and improving over time.
• Partner closely with product and design to prototype, ship, monitor, and optimize agent-driven features with strong performance, security, and cost controls.

Required Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience (Python-based), including API design, async systems, and deploying services in cloud environments with modern DevOps practices.
• 4+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade backend or AI-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered systems, agent orchestration frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector-based knowledge stores.
• Experience optimizing or customizing language models (e.g., fine-tuning, efficiency techniques)
• Due to the need to communicate with China counterparts, proficieny in Chinese is required.
