About The Role

We are seeking experienced Product Designers to join our dynamic Product Design team at Stripe. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across various core areas such as Payments, Revenue & Finance, Seller & Commerce Experiences, Dashboard, Billing, Terminal, and more. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Marketers—to define, create, and refine user-facing features that are both elegant and functional. Your work will directly impact how millions of users interact with Stripe’s products, making complicated processes simple and intuitive. This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence product strategy, craft high-quality user interfaces, and contribute to a culture of design excellence and innovation. Whether in-office or remote, you will be part of a collaborative environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant product design experience
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and polished UI craft
• Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to influence product direction
• Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and multiple stakeholder inputs
• Excellent communication skills for articulating design decisions and rationale
• Experience working on ambiguous and complex problems across horizontal product areas
• Strong influence and persuasion skills to guide team and product decisions
• Confidence in presenting work to leadership and stakeholders
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, user-centered designs that enhance core product surfaces and overall user experience
• Design, prototype, and test intuitive experiences that simplify complex workflows
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers to define both strategic and tactical design approaches
• Create high-caliber UI components that exemplify design excellence and consistency
• Participate actively in design reviews, sharing work regularly and contributing to a culture of feedback and iteration
• Partner with UX Research teams to inform and validate design decisions through user insights and testing
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and incorporate best practices into design solutions
• Contribute to the development of design systems and standards to ensure consistency across products
