Role- Business Analyst

Location- Mississauga, ON

Our challenge-

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in capital or fixed markets to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on capital markets. The candidate should also have expertise in SQL and hold a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data within the capital or fixed markets domain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and user stories.
• Perform data analysis and create detailed reports to support decision-making processes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute project plans.

Requirements:

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital or fixed markets industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and investment banking.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements is desirable.
