• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in design and architecture with testing or launching software products.
• 5 years of experience with programming in Objective-C or Swift.
• 5 years of experience with iOS application development.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role with leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience with working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
• Experience in back-end coding languages such as GOLang, Rust, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on projects.
• Mentor a distributed team of engineers.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
• Understand iOS and the Photos iOS code base, ensure quality solutions for projects across the team.
