Data Analyst - Data Modelling/ SQL/Alteryx

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Analyst - Data Modelling/ SQL/Alteryx who will be primarily accountable for designing and implementing data quality rules in Alteryx based on their understanding of the business and technical data requirements. The successful candidate will have intermediate to expert skills with Alteryx and with data quality implementations specifically.

Responsibilities:

• Solicit, analyze, and understand data requirements (business and technical) to support the creation of data quality rules.
• Design, build, and test data quality inspection and reporting using Alteryx.
• Understand data management solutions, applications, platforms, and/or tools that are leveraged across all functional groups (e.g., Data Scientists, Business Insights & Analytics, etc.)
• Support data modeling capabilities to structure business data to be consumed/translated into a variety of novel capacities
• Support business teams in the use and understanding of the data and reporting solutions
• Drive data-centric solution development focusing on complex data integration
• Adopt the Enterprise Data model in alignment with policies and/or direction from the relevant stakeholder groups
• May also develop data road map/information management strategies and corresponding technical solutions on integrating, transforming, and/or managing data
• May also be responsible for developing sophisticated data preparation frameworks and architecture to create or modify data features for consumption by Data Scientists

Desired Skill Set:

• 8 years of proven experience in Data Design and Data Modelling
• 8 years of expertise in Analysis
• 8 years of hands-on experience with Alteryx
• 8 years of proficiency in Advanced SQL
• 8 years of experience in MS Office – Visio diagrams
