We are now looking for talented Cloud and Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Helsinki. Our cloud services form the backbone of security solutions that protect tens of millions of users worldwide – processing threat data, powering real-time protection, and enabling seamless experiences across all our products.

You'll have the opportunity to join our TOTAL team, developing the backend infrastructure for our flagship consumer security product.

This role is based in Helsinki, Finland, and we work in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home while coming together for collaboration at our modern HQ.

What You'll Be Working On

• Designing and implementing scalable cloud services that serving large user base in multiple regions
• Building APIs and backend systems that power our mobile and desktop applications
• Working with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure
• Collaborating with mobile teams, security researchers, and product managers
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience or strong interest in running serverless production systems
• Experience or strong interest in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience with AWS managed and serverless services
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g. CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS)
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience setting up monitoring and observability capabilities
• A team-oriented mindset: you communicate clearly, support others, and stay curious
• Full professional proficiency in English for collaboration in our international environment

• Experience with security-focused applications or threat detection systems
• Background in machine learning infrastructure or data engineering
• Understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals
