Product Owner

We’re looking for a Product Owner (m/f) to join our client in the public sector.

Location: Luxembourg

Mode: On-site with teleworking flexibility after the first 3 months.

Contract: CDI (open for permanent employees and/or freelancers)

Language requirement: Fluent French & English.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IT Product Owner or in a similar role within web or digital environments
• Strong expertise in business requirements gathering, backlog management, and agile delivery
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or equivalent backlog and delivery management tools
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in complex IT environments

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the evolutionary and functional maintenance of four main websites, acting as the primary IT Product Owner for the platforms
• Collect, analyze, and prioritize business requirements from multiple stakeholders
• Organize and facilitate workshops when necessary to clarify needs and align expectations
• Identify, define, and maintain workflows to ensure clear intake, tracking, and follow-up of development requests
• Implement and promote a UX/UI and Accessibility-by-design approach in close collaboration with relevant subject-matter experts
• Maintain a clear, structured, and prioritized product backlog using the appropriate IT tool (Azure DevOps)
• Write high-quality user stories and define clear acceptance criteria
• Plan, track, and monitor development activities and deliveries
• Coordinate functional and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and compliance with requirements
• Organize, facilitate, and document steering committee meetings (COPIL)
• Provide the necessary inputs to define and maintain the vision and strategic direction of the websites
• Prepare and present development roadmaps and planning updates
• Propose and justify prioritization of requests based on value, risks, and constraints
• Organize, facilitate, and document project committees (COPROJ – Web Working Group)
• Ensure regular and transparent communication with all stakeholders (business, IT, external partners)
• Act as the main point of contact between business teams and IT teams
• Support the preparation of investment and funding requests
• Monitor costs and budgets related to website development and maintenance
