We are currently looking for Senior Android Developer for a Leading Multinational Retail Company

Requirements:

Tech Stack

Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Android Architecture Components, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), GCP, Kubernetes

Profile Requirements

5+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin

Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and modern Android architecture components

Experience integrating WebSocket, SSE, or similar real-time communication protocols into Android apps

Proven ability to build and maintain modular, reusable UI components for production-scale mobile applications

Familiarity with Server-Driven UI concepts and rendering dynamic UI based on JSON-based schemas

Understanding of chat UI design patterns, prompt handling, and conversational UX

Experience working in CI/CD environments powered by GCP and Kubernetes pipelines

Strong understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and testing in Android

Nice to Have

Experience with AI/ML-integrated chat platforms (e.g., LangChain, Firebase ML, Dialogflow)

Exposure to mobile A/B testing and analytics tools

Contributions to open-source mobile projects or UI libraries

Familiarity with backend integration via REST, GraphQL, or Firebase

Location: Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra, hybrid.
