IT Application Development         

We are currently partnering with a brokerage firm with a footprint spanning across various countries in Asia and they are looking to hire a application support developer.

This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's application portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the application development processes, ensuring that the applications are developed and maintained to meet the needs of their organization and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct system analysis, design, and program development to enhance system functionality.
• Develop and optimize trading system test tools, ensuring accurate testing and latency measurement.
• Design and implement .NET web and Windows applications.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for project management and deployment processes.
• Optimize program performance and maintain application stability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system interfaces to streamline troubleshooting and resolution processes.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate application functionality.
• Provide prompt and effective support to end-users for issue resolution.
• Requirements:

• Proficiency in SQL database design and implementation, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Solid experience in modular project development and collaborative teamwork.
• Strong knowledge of source control systems like Git/GitHub.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft .NET C# system development and SQL database management.
• Familiarity with back-office operations for the securities industry is highly advantageous.
• Competence in creating and working with batch files on Microsoft Windows.
• Expertise in reading and writing stored procedures and handling large data access operations.
• Hands-on experience with source code management tools such as Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Experience in developing or working with adapters to process exchange or trade information.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication across stakeholders, including management, users, customers, and vendors.
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Knowledge of financial products, particularly equities, is a plus.
• Experience with finance back-office systems is desirable.
