Senior Data Scientist – Computer Vision & Image Processing

Location: Malmo

Working model: Onsite / Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week onsite, often more)

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to accelerate computer vision and image-processing initiatives within Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Verified User Generated Content (VUGC) in Group Digital – Data & Analytics.

This is a hands-on, senior role focused on building production-grade computer vision solutions that improve image tagging, classification, moderation, and content quality at scale. You will work closely with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders, covering the full lifecycle from experimentation to deployment and continuous optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve computer vision models for image tagging and processing
• Deliver scalable ML solutions supporting DAM and VUGC flows
• Work end-to-end with models: training, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation
• Apply MLOps best practices, ideally using Vertex AI
• Develop and operate solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Collaborate closely with data, engineering, and product teams
• Translate technical outcomes into clear business value

Key requirements

• Strong experience in Computer Vision / image processing
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Solid experience with MLOps (Vertex AI strongly preferred)
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience working with BigQuery
• Senior-level experience delivering production ML systems
• Comfortable working close to both data and business stakeholders
