Visual Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Global overview on upcoming CHARLES & KEITH retail concept stores to propose new display solutions
• Creating and changing visual displays
• Forecast and present seasonal retail design trends to the visual merchandising team
• Prepare and make decisions on all display concepts that best portray brand image and direction, including seasonal window display, in-store display concepts according to merchandise collection, special events, festivities or promotions
• Propose market-specific display for the presentation of merchandise in international markets
• Ensure that visual display research, design, and production is done timely and seasonally
• Development, production, and delivery of all visual display props including windows and in-store
• Liaise with procurement team on production of display props and materials
• Ensure quality of display props aligns to brand standards for shipment and global dissemination
• Work with and negotiate with a broad supply base to resolve production challenges and ensure on time, on budget delivery of windows and in-store visual elements to the expected standard
• Prepare installation manual of display props for the dissemination of setup instructions to international franchisees
• Provide training to the installation team to successfully setup display and implementations
• Develop the highest brand and product knowledge
• Perform as a team-player, participate in all activities contributing to the overall objectives of the store

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Product Design or a related field is required
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design software (such as Rhino, 3D Max, Keyshot, or similar) is essential
• Flexibility to work early mornings or late nights as needed, weekends and public holiday shifts may be required depending on retail schedule requirements
• Ability to perform physical tasks, as the position can be physically demanding
• Familiarity with international trends in fashion retail display is expected
• Strong creative flair and effective problem-solving skills are preferred
• Excellent organizational skills are essential, including strengths in planning, project management, and time management
