AI Engineer (SAP Managed Services)

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI‑powered solutions within SAP Managed Services environments. This role focuses on building enterprise‑grade AI agents, creating deep SAP integrations, and enabling automation that enhances diagnostics, incident handling, and overall service delivery.

The ideal candidate brings strong AI/LLM engineering capabilities, hands‑on SAP technical skills, and solid understanding of managed services operations.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Engineering & Agent Development:

• Design and develop AI Agents using modern frameworks such as LangGraph and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Build and refine AI Agent experience layers using CopilotKit, Vercel AI SDK, or similar technologies.
• Create AI development assets and MCP‑based integrations supporting the AI SDLC for SAP, including tooling and automation.

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Enable and support AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure for AI agent deployment, scalability, observability, and secure operations.

SAP Integration:

• Design and implement SAP integrations using:
• OData Services
• Function Modules
• CDS Views
• Work with SAP data models and structures to enable accurate context retrieval, analysis, and automation.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis teams on system connectivity, transport management, performance optimization, and access control.

Managed Services & Operations

• Integrate AI solutions with SAP incident and ticketing processes (e.g., ServiceNow) to enhance diagnostics, triage, and workflow automation.
• Partner with Technical Product Managers, SAP functional consultants, and Managed Services teams to deliver production‑ready AI solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

AI & Cloud:

• Strong experience in AI/LLM development and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, MCP architectures).
• Hands-on experience building AI agent front-end/experience layers (CopilotKit, Vercel AI SDK, or similar).
• Experience deploying and operating AI workloads on AWS or Azure.

SAP Technical Proficiency:

• OData Services
• Function Modules
• CDS Views
• SAP data models and structures
• Eclipse ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
• RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), including OData V4 API publishing

Additional Requirements:

• Working knowledge of SAP Basis concepts and managed services environments.
• Familiarity with SAP incident management processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills across AI, cloud, and SAP domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing AI solutions for SAP Managed Services or enterprise operations.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven diagnostics, monitoring, or forensic analysis in SAP environments.
• Understanding of secure AI deployment patterns and enterprise governance models.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps‑based delivery teams.
