Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior GenAI Engineer to design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions across enterprise platforms and client engagements. This role focuses on developing scalable, secure, and production-ready GenAI systems that deliver measurable business impact.

The Senior GenAI Engineer will work closely with consulting, product, and business teams to define high-value use cases, translate business challenges into GenAI architectures, and operationalize AI capabilities across Involead’s growing global footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate Generative AI models including LLMs and multimodal models
  • Develop and optimize prompt engineering workflows, RAG pipelines, agents, and fine-tuning strategies
  • Work with open-source and commercial LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMA, and Mistral
  • Implement safety guardrails, hallucination mitigation, and responsible AI mechanisms
  • Partner with business and consulting teams to identify and prioritize GenAI use cases
  • Translate business problems into GenAI solution architectures with clear success metrics
  • Define ROI, feasibility, and scalability of GenAI initiatives
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate business value
  • Design and manage data pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and inference
  • Deploy scalable, secure, and cost-efficient GenAI systems into production
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on monitoring, retraining, and lifecycle management
  • Track model performance, latency, cost, and drift in production environments
  • Ensure compliance with responsible AI practices, data privacy, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR
  • Define and enforce GenAI standards, best practices, and governance frameworks

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based systems
  • 5–9 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering
  • Strong understanding of transformers, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures
  • Proficiency in Python and GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or Hugging Face
  • Experience with fine-tuning techniques including LoRA, PEFT, and instruction tuning
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field
