Senior Business / Data Analyst – Manufacturing & MES (Contract)

We’re supporting a global pharmaceutical organisation on a large-scale manufacturing data initiative and are looking for a Senior Business / Data Analyst with strong manufacturing and MES domain experience.

This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations, data, and analytics, working closely with global sites to translate complex shop-floor and business processes into reliable, decision-ready data.

Key responsibilities

• Work with manufacturing and technical operations teams to understand MES and production processes
• Translate business requirements into data models, KPIs, and analytics-ready logic
• Support data ingestion and modelling in a modern data platform (Snowflake, AWS, Airflow)
• Analyse and rationalise business logic currently embedded in Excel or source systems
• Support global go-lives, workshops, and stakeholder engagement across manufacturing sites

Required experience

• 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst
• Strong background in pharma or biotech manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with MES and manufacturing systems
• Solid SQL and data modelling experience (star / snowflake schemas)
• Experience working in global, multi-site environments
• Excellent communication skills in English

Contract details

• Start: Early 2026
• Duration: Until December 2026 (extension likely)
• Location: Europe (100% remote with occasional onsite travel)
