The role:

Lead and contribute to support the modernization of a large completion system. Ensure that the project follows client design guidelines and support the development teams needs for UI and design principles, while re-writing the application to .NET 10 and React.

• To be the specialist that supports the business SME’s needs and facilitate for changes valuable enough to include in the modernization initiative. This is not straight forward and requires domain competence and understanding of the business area.
• Explore and understand construction & commissioning workflows and data structures, to ensure the UI supports accuracy, efficiency, and traceability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, subject-matter experts (SMEs), and our client. • Define and maintain design patterns, layouts, and interaction logic.
• Translate business and user requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs, providing clear rationale and documentation for development handover.
• Participate in design reviews, testing sessions, and feedback loops to continuously improve usability and consistency.
• Act as a bridge between users and technical teams, translating feedback into actionable design recommendations.
• Work in close alignment with other designers across projects, contributing to a shared visual and interaction language that scales across applications.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Product Design with strong skills in UI and interaction design.
• Experience in working with complex digital products
• Experience working closely with developers and handling proper design handovers
• Living in Stavanger is best (Or willing to relocate from another town in Norway)
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Fluent Norwegian
• Are professionally engaged and interested in learning more and developing yourself.

This job will not accept applicants who are not living in Norway as this is an on-site / Hybrid position.
