Internship - Full-Stack Developer (f/m/x)

We're looking for a strong intern to join and work closely with our engineering team to support the creation and maintenance of our web application. You’ll gain valuable experience in frontend and backend technologies and contribute to a real-world project.

Jobkey is building a B2B SaaS platform in the procurement industry. We help companies and staffing providers streamline the interaction with each other to maximize efficiencies. Thereby, the corporates can purchase professional services through the platform and manage the contingent workforce. Backed by renowned business angels and family offices, we are defining a new market leader.

Tasks

  • 🧩 Full-Stack Development: Assist in developing web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and popular frameworks like Vue or React to build engaging user experiences
  • 🦾 Backend Contributions: Contribute to backend development by creating RESTful APIs with Express, ensuring robust server-side functionality
  • 🚢 Containerization & Deployment: Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline development and deployment processes
  • 🗄️ Database Management: Support database management using PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks such as Sequelize or TypeORM, ensuring efficient data handling
  • 🔍 Testing & Debugging: Participate in code testing and debugging, including unit and end-to-end testing, while writing automated test cases to enhance software reliability

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing (final year) or recently completed a degree in Compupter Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Standing out by exceptional achievements in extracurricular activities, work experience, or your academic career
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, as well as understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue or React, and backend development using Node.js, particularly building RESTful APIs with Express
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies, as well as a hard-working and entrepreneurially driven mind-set
  • Fluent in English
