We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of
Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.
Hybrid/Remote: 2 days, Wednesday and 1 other day of choice
Extension or FTE: Possibility for both
Contract Duration: ASAP - to 10/31/2026

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
• Contribute directly to the Bank’s cybersecurity posture and risk reduction efforts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Develop expertise in identity and access management, offboarding governance, and remediation processes.
• Present process improvement ideas up to Director level.
• Gain exposure to enterprise-level security operations and controls.
Typical Day in Role
• Manage daily communications with stakeholders regarding open share servers/folders and domain-authenticated user access activities
• Track, prioritize, and update all work items, ensuring deadlines and next steps are clearly documented.
• Investigate issues using critical thinking to identify root causes and support resolution.
• Execute established processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Escalate risks, delays, or issues proactively to support timely decision-making.
• Ensure all work aligns with the Bank’s risk appetite, policies, and security standards.
• Contribute to a high performance and inclusive team environment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Must have:
1. 2–4 years of experience in technology operations, cybersecurity operations, or identity & access management (IAM)
2. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
-Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleansing, reporting, and tracking.
- Outlook: Managing high volume communications and follow ups.
-SharePoint/OneDrive: Navigating shared drives, permissions, and folder structures.
3. Solid understanding of core technology concepts
4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work items with accuracy and urgency
- Experience tracking tasks, documenting next steps, and maintaining audit ready records.
Nice to Have Skills:
1. Security certifications or coursework
- GISF, CISM, CRISC, CISA, Security+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate.
2. Hands on experience in IAM or cybersecurity operations
- Access reviews, entitlement remediation
3. Experience with enterprise security tools or platforms (Service now)
4. Experience with process improvement or operational optimization
o Ability to identify gaps, propose enhancements, and streamline workflows.

• Relevant post secondary education in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Security certifications (GISF/CISM/CRISC/CISA) considered an asset.
• Security related coursework (e.g., Google Cybersecurity) considered an asset.
