We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support the VP of Manufacturing at an aftermarket automotive company with multiple operational sites. This role will serve as a key partner in driving data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and project execution across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with project management expertise, proficiency in Power BI for data mining and reporting, and advanced Smartsheet experience to support planning, tracking, and execution of cross-functional initiatives.

- Data Analytics & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and manufacturing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports in Power BI for manufacturing performance, cost tracking, and KPI monitoring.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership teams to support decision-making across multiple sites.
- Project Management & Execution
- Serve as project manager for strategic manufacturing initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, deliverables, and business goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using Smartsheet.
- Track and report project progress, proactively addressing risks and bottlenecks.
- Operational Support
- Partner with plant leadership teams to gather and validate data from various systems and sites.
- Standardize and streamline reporting processes across the organization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying data-driven opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the VP of Manufacturing and cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, ideally within manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (data mining, DAX, dashboard creation).
- Extensive hands-on experience with Smartsheet (project planning, reporting, automation).
- Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent Excel and data visualization skills; SQL knowledge a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for executive-level audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across geographically dispersed teams.
