About The Job

Lead iOS Engineer role responsible for technical leadership and hands-on development of the iOS application. Own mobile architecture, feature delivery, and code quality; mentors iOS engineers; and collaborates with product, design, and backend teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers by conducting regular 1:1s, providing performance feedback, and supporting their career growth, while fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective ownership.
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and platform guidelines, while delivering performant and reliable user experiences.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of iOS features, collaborating closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to transform product requirements into scalable, maintainable mobile solutions, and providing post-release support.
• Establish and champion iOS engineering best practices, including architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM/Clean), code reviews, automated testing, accessibility, performance optimization, and CI/CD for mobile, while identifying and reducing technical debt to continuously improve app architecture and developer experience.
• Monitor and optimize application stability, performance, and user experience using crash reporting, analytics, and observability tools, driving continuous improvement based on production insights.
  
  

Bring to the Team

• Strong proficiency in iOS development using Swift, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, production-grade mobile applications at scale.
• Experience leading mobile engineers or mentoring developers in a senior capacity, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
• Proven track record designing, evolving, and maintaining modular, testable iOS architectures (e.g. MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Deep understanding of the iOS platform, including app lifecycle, memory management, performance optimization, and system APIs.
• Hands-on experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes, including App Store distribution and versioning.
• Familiarity with networking, API integration, and data persistence on iOS (e.g. REST/GraphQL, URLSession, Core Data, SQLite).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building clean, efficient, maintainable, and user-focused mobile solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, agile environment.
