Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking multiple Cyber Security Analysts to join one our valuable clients in the financial services industry for a long term freelance opportunity to operate within a structured SOC environment, contributing to incident detection, alert triage, and response activities.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct incident response activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and document findings
• Coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery actions.
• Incident handling withing specified service metrics.
• Continuous improvement of internal knowledge, including playbooks, response procedures, and detection logic.
• Proactive communication with stakeholders, ensuring timely updates during live incidents and alignment on priority and business impact.

What You'll Bring:

• 6+ years of experience in Incident Response and a SOC environment.
• Hands-on expertise with security monitoring and investigation tools, including SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Proven experience managing the full incident lifecycle.
• Experience handling critical security incidents.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive situations.
