About The Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, the Coordinator People & Culture - Learning & Development is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of People & Culture and the Assistant Manager of People & Culture in the day-to-day management of the department's administrative activities, as well as the Director of People & Culture in specific projects.

He/she also assists the Learning & Development Director in various tasks, particularly those related to coordinating training activities, administrative follow-up, and implementing development programs.

In this role, he/she performs various cross-functional tasks and ensures that good working relationships are maintained with all employees.

As Coordinator People & Culture - Learning & Development, you will be responsible for:

Administrative And Organizational Tasks

  • Keep the office and interview room clean and ready to welcome employees and candidates.
  • Manage administrative documents: certificates, personnel files, responses to applications, reference checks.
  • Prepare and organize employee arrival and departure files.
  • Oversee the management of staff accommodation and locker rooms.

Welcoming And Integrating Employees

  • Support new employees upon their arrival (administration, uniforms, introductions).
  • Provide personalized follow-up to meet the needs of the teams.

Communication And Coordination

  • Update internal lists and the department's activity schedule.
  • Organize events and coordinate internal communication campaigns via the Beekeeper app (birthdays, surveys, challenges).

As Coordinator People & Culture - Learning & Development we expect from you:

  • Discretion, organization, and strict adherence to confidentiality.
  • Ability to establish professional relationships and provide exemplary service in accordance with Mandarin Oriental standards.
  • A passion for hospitality and attention to detail.
  • Experience in human resources in a luxury hotel environment preferred.
  • Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Good communication skills and a flexible attitude.
  • Fluency in English and French, another European language is a plus.
  • A valid Swiss work permit or EU passport.
