DevOps Engineer

We are now looking for a experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with Golang, GCP & Kubernetes experience.

1. Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced engineer to build, scale, and secure our cloud infrastructure on GCP. Uniquely, this role requires strong software engineering proficiency in Go to build custom internal tooling, Kubernetes operators, and high-performance automation services. You will treat infrastructure as code and operations as a software problem.

2. Technical Requirements (Must-Haves)

Cloud Infrastructure (GCP)

• Deep GCP Expertise: Extensive experience managing production environments on Google Cloud Platform.

• Compute: Advanced knowledge of GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) including cluster architecture, auto-scaling, node pools, and upgrading strategies.

• Networking: Proficiency with VPCs, Shared VPCs, Firewall rules, Cloud NAT, and Load Balancing (L4/L7).

• Security: Experience with IAM (Roles, Service Accounts, Workload Identity), and secret management (GCP Secret Manager or HashiCorp Vault).

Programming & Automation (Go Focus)

• Go Proficiency: Ability to write production-grade code in Go. This is not just for scripting; you will be expected to:

• Develop custom Kubernetes Controllers/Operators using client-go or Kubebuilder.

• Write efficient CLIs and internal developer platform (IDP) tools.

• Build high-performance glue code for CI/CD pipelines.

• Scripting: Proficiency in Bash or Python for ad-hoc operational tasks.
