Senior Backend Developer – C# / .NET (Disaster Recovery & Migration)

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join the development of a new product, with a strong focus on a Disaster Recovery & Migration module.

This is a backend-heavy role centered around advanced system logic, recovery scenarios, and resilient distributed systems. You’ll work in a small, focused team alongside the technical manager, contributing both hands-on and at architectural level.

Location: Lund (onsite)

Focus: Backend only (no frontend)

Contract: 6 months + possibilities of extensions

What you’ll do

• Develop backend functionality using C# and .NET 10
• Design and implement migration and disaster recovery logic
• Work with asynchronous communication patterns and event-driven flows
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions
• Ensure high quality in terms of stability, resilience, and testability
• Help shape a robust backend for systems with high availability requirements

What we’re looking for

Must-haves

• Strong senior-level experience with C# and .NET
• Deep backend expertise and experience with advanced business/system logic
• Solid understanding of distributed systems
• Experience building stable, resilient, high-availability solutions
• Comfortable influencing architecture and technical direction

Nice to have

• Experience with NATS or similar message bus technologies
• Background in systems with strong availability and recovery requirements
• Experience with event-driven architectures
