User Interface Engineer

We are looking for a strong UI Engineers to join a leading financial services client of ours in Krakow. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for modern digital platforms. You will work closely with UX designers, backend engineers and business stakeholders to deliver seamless, accessible and scalable user experiences.

We also have openings for Tech Lead position, you will additionally provide technical leadership, set UI engineering standards and mentor other engineers.

What you’ll do

• Develop responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, high-quality, maintainable code
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability and usability
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance (WCAG)
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and services
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared UI component libraries

Additional responsibilities for Tech Lead:

• Provide technical direction and architectural guidance for UI solutions
• Lead code reviews and promote best practices across the team
• Mentor mid-level engineers and support technical growth

What you need

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React / Angular)
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
