About the hiring company (we represent):

This is an AI venture company from Tokyo University whose mission is to socially implement AI algorithms centered on deep learning. They develop and provide human centered-image analysis by making full use of AI technology that realizes real-time video analysis and NLP.

Image analysis focused on people. A group of AI engines originally developed by their company for commercial facilities, construction sites, factories, warehouses, and other sites where people gather. By combining posture estimation, behavior recognition, position estimation, face orientation estimation, emotion estimation, object recognition and natural language processing technology as needed, they can grasp the movement and state of a person. As a result, business improvement, safety improvement, and mechanization / automation of watching will be realized.

They posses technology that combines various AI technologies, high-speed technology that realizes real-time analysis, lightweight technology that can significantly reduce computational resources, and H / W system design that can withstand sites in poor environments that are difficult to digitize. [Job Description]

Their main business is data analysis and construction of machine learning models. You will be in charge of a wide range of tasks, from the upstream part of creating prototypes by thinking about UX from the customer's perspective to the downstream part of implementing at the production level. In all development, they will realize scalable and general-purpose development by building with microservices by Restfull API.

Since the application is built on the container, it is an environment where the optimum technology can be selected with a high degree of freedom.

[Requirements]

・ Over 3 year of Python experience

・ Implementation experience using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow / PyTorch

・ Reading comprehension of specialized papers and documents (no resistance to English)

・ Required Japanese ability: Business or above (N2 or above)

* Those with high skills are OK even if they do not have Japanese ability.

[Preferred Requirements]

・ Development and design experience at startup

・ Experience in developing and operating large-scale and distributed systems

・ Web system development experience

・ Basic knowledge of RDB and SQL

・ Experience in developing and operating microservices using Docker / Kubernetes

・ Experience of posting and presenting at international conferences

・ Experience in project management

[Conditions]

Employment type: permanent

Trial period: ~ 6 months (first six months contract-based, with high certainty to become permanent employee after that)

Estimated annual income: ￥4.5M-￥10M

Work location: Tokyo, Remote work available about twice a week

Working hours:10: 00-19: 00 (with flex. Core time 10: 00-16: 00)

Holidays: 2 days a week (Saturdays and Sundays), national holidays

Vacation: Summer vacation, year-end and New Year holidays, and other vacations available
