Job Description

Stefanini Group is looking for a Network Engineer, to complement the technical capabilities of our Network team with focus on optimization, standardization, and rollout of wired and wireless network infrastructure across multiple sites. The role is highly hands-on and field-oriented, involving site surveys, infrastructure rework, and close collaboration with IT and operational teams to support business-critical systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Rework, standardize and optimize existing on-site Wi-Fi infrastructure.
  • Own WLAN lifecycle: surveys, RF tuning, capacity & roaming optimization.
  • Perform wireless surveys using Ekahau (license provided).
  • Fine-tune wireless configurations to improve performance, stability, and coverage.
  • Assess and optimize rack organization and cabling.
  • Review and optimize Access Point (AP) placement.
  • Optimize, and support enterprise routing/switching across global sites.
  • Ensure consistency in configuration, security, performance, and documentation across all locations.
  • Evaluate and support UPS installations and reliability.
  • Support and integrate networking requirements for: OT, Energy Management Systems and Building Management Systems.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer in multi-site or distributed environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki wireless networks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-75% of working time). - Europe locations WI-FI survey
  • Solid understanding of Wi-Fi design, RF principles, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience performing wireless surveys (Ekahau experience strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of structured cabling standards and on-site cabling validation.
  • Experience working in warehouses, logistics, or industrial environments is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) is nice to have.
  • CWNA/CCNA or similar certifications required.
  • Broad knowledge in overall IT Infrastructure and Telecommunications.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner with excellent planning, organization, and time management skills, paying close attention to detail to ensure quality in work delivered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Exposure to ITIL concepts.
