We are now looking for a Director of Business Development for Norway focusing on the Norwegian defence market, based in Halden or Oslo. The role is defined as customer sales responsible (CSR), responsible for Saab’s business development activities, with focus on selected land, naval or air solutions. The role also includes supporting tasks to in-country execution projects. You will be reporting to the Country Manager for Norway as your Line Manager.

The candidate should have documented experience from working within the Norwegian Ministry of Defence or one of its agencies such as NDMA and/or the Norwegian Defence Industry, alternatively a background within the Norwegian Armed Forces. The candidate should bring a vast network and expertise of the Norwegian defence governmental and industrial markets and is able to independently identify, pursue and drive business opportunities within the Norwegian market. Travels will predominantly be within Norway but frequent travels will be required to Saab’s Headquarter, Business Areas or Business Units in other countries .
