Data Analyst

SKELAR is a Ukrainian venture builder that creates international tech businesses. We build diverse projects from EdTech to SaaS, reaching millions of users globally. We are currently scaling our Payments Team, which handles the full processing cycle for 12 portfolio businesses.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the team and help us turn payment data into actionable insights. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to own the analytics process and directly impact the financial efficiency of multiple global products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain and improve automated dashboards in Tableau to track key payment metrics (Approval Rate, Transaction Costs, etc.).
• Performance Analysis: Identify trends and anomalies in payment funnels to help optimize conversion rates across different projects.
• Data Management: Collect and structure data from external payment providers (via API) and internal databases (BigQuery, MySQL).
• Alerting & Compliance: Support and update alerting systems to monitor payment health and ensure compliance with Visa/MasterCard limits.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the payments team and stakeholders to provide data-driven answers to business questions.

Our Expectations:

• Education: Degree in Mathematics, System Analysis, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2-3+ years in Data or Product Analytics. Experience in Fintech, Payments, or E-commerce is a strong plus.
• Tech Stack: * Proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions).
• Experience with Google BigQuery (or other cloud data warehouses).
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau preferred, or Power BI).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large datasets and translate numbers into clear business conclusions.
• Proactivity: A self-starter who can manage their own tasks and focus on delivering results.
