Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Strategic Technology Group is a core team within Infosys supported by Power Programmers who are tech polyglots. Our team of Power Programmers works on complex projects and builds solutions to solve some of the world's most challenging business problems.

About the Role :

We are seeking AI professionals with must have GenAI/Agentic AI expertise and strong production engineering skills. The ideal candidate can build, deploy, and scale LLM powered and Agentic AI systems moving beyond prototypes to real enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and deploy GenAI / Agentic AI solutions, including LLM pipelines, RAG systems, and autonomous AI agents.

- Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and model-serving architectures using cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

- Implement prompt engineering, prompt workflows, embeddings, vector search, and guardrails for safety.

- Deploy production AI using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring frameworks.

- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, and APIs.

- Ensure reliability, performance, observability, and compliance with Responsible AI standards.

Must Have Skills (Gen AI Or Agentic AI)

- Hands on GenAI development (GPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral, etc.).

- Agentic AI experience building multi-step AI agents, tool-calling workflows, or autonomous task pipelines.

- Strong skills with RAG, vector databases (Pinecone/FAISS/Chroma/Azure Cognitive Search).

- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience with Azure OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.

- Strong production engineering: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, API development.

Nice to Have :

- Model fine-tuning, quantization, or optimization.

- Experience with model/LLM evaluation frameworks (Ragas, TruLens, DeepEval).

- Exposure to event-driven or real-time AI systems.
