Cyber Security Analyst | Hybrid, 3 days in North Leicester | £55,000 – £60,000 + Bonus, private medical

A recently appointed CISO for a FTSE 100 UK leader is building a first class Information Security team and capability. As part of these 15+ hires, we are recruiting 2 Cyber Security Analysts to enhance their security operations capability, working closely with a 24x7 third-party SOC, giving you hands-on exposure to real-world threats, incidents, and vulnerability management ina blue-chip environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring and triaging security alerts from internal systems and a third-party SOC
• Supporting investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents
• Working with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence feeds, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Helping improve detection, response playbooks, and security documentation
• Collaborating with IT and infrastructure teams on vulnerability remediation
• Contributing to threat intelligence, tabletop exercises, and user awareness activity
• Supporting continuous improvement across security operations and controls

What I’m looking for:

• established commercial cybersecurity and/or SOC experience.
• Hands-on exposure to incident investigations and risk remediation
• Working knowledge of SIEM, endpoint security, and network fundamentals
• Understanding of common cyber threats and incident response principles
• Experience operating in a compliant environment (e.g. NIST, GDPR)
• Strong analytical mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills
